What is Sport of the Year? Sport of the Year is a competition among all JVHS sports. The winner will receive a trophy, certificates, pizza party and other prizes yet to be announced.

How do you win?

1. Attend and Cheer at a Varsity Sporting Event

a. Come see an administrator at the event to get credit for attending.

b. % of team present X (1 point for sitting in the stands; 2 points for sitting in stands and positive cheers for JVHS!).

c. Attendance Points can only be earned at the following listed events. 

2. Team G.P.A.

a. Points will be given for the team with the highest team G.P.A.

3. Sportsmanship

a. Teams will lose points for any sportsmanship issues reported to the athletic office.
