Due to budget constraints, starting 2009/10, Jurupa Unified School District will begin charging fees for transportation. In addition to the new fees, JUSD has also increased the walking distance for middle and high school students. Please see the following 2009/10 Board approved walking distances:
Grades K-6, 1 mile Grades 7-8, 1.5 miles Grades 9-12, 3 miles

Install Flash Player to view the slideshow.	Congratulations to Stone Avenue and Sunnyslope Elementary Schools for earning the California Title I Academic Achievement Award! In order to be considered for honor, schools must meet a variety of eligibility criteria including designated federal and state accountability measures based on Adequate Yearly Progress and Academic Performance Index requirements.
Schools received the Title I Academic Achievement Award at a statewide ceremony where the State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell. The event and awards are funded by donations from many of California's most prominent corporations and statewide educational organizations.
